Character re-modeling : LUCKKI






Luckki is the mascot character of the company.
Even before I joined the company, there were many opinions that the existing character design resembles a mouse rather than a rabbit image.
I was planning to commercialize and promote the character, so I started remodeling the character.

First, I changed the character's body proportion. At that time, I thought low-poly model is not proper to viral, advertising, just useful in game or AR VR. So I adjusted the mesh to the point where there was no delay in character animation. And added more details to facial stuff(panel, bolts etc). Last, Split the whole body to three parts : ears, head, body

In addition, hairbrush scratches and dent were added to the metal material to give imperfections. However, by finely overlapping several layers, it tried to preserve the image of the existing character.

Luckki's feature is ears. So I add bendy bone to ears. And it is SD character So I made a rig a little different from a human. Leg(two bone), belly(maybe I can make belly to shake someday), arm(three fingers).
